The purpose of the register is to take care of the customer relationship between the register holder and the customer, as well as marketing and communications. The management of the register and the handling of the data can be outsourced to the co-operative partner of the register holder, who has committed to complying with this register description.

The register may contain the following information about the customer:
– Name
– Telephone number
– Address
– E-mail address
– The name and business ID of the organisation
– Contact log

6. Data sources in compliance with the regulations
The register is compiled from the register holder’s customer information system and the visitor tracking tool on the site, publicly available Internet sources and other public sources, both free and payable ones.

7. Passing on of data in compliance with the regulations
The register holder will not pass on the data to outside parties except for the co-operative partner of the register holder mentioned in point 4, unless actions by the Finnish authorities require it to do so.

8. Transferral of data outside the EU or EEA
As a rule, personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or European Economic Area.

9. The principles of the protection of the register
Personal data is kept confidential. The data network and equipment of the register holder and its possible data technology partners, where the register is located, are protected with a firewall and other necessary technical measures.

Full Paper Mill

Section A: Wood Line 6


Modern woodyard: year 1972 with various improvements over the years. Production is 125 m/hr of logs.

Design capacity 62.5 cm3 wood per hour.

Design speed is 0.5 to1.5 m / min. Camera system operated from central control station.

Log hopper for in feed of 8 m length logs. Two in feed lines 3.8 and 4.4 m wide. Maximum design load of conveyors is 63 tons.

Three sets of saws in conveyor system cutting logs to 1060mm lengths. Drive is 50 hp. Roll centring system before saws are 1500mm diameter.

De barking drum with rubber inner bark removing units: 5 m diameter and 30 m length.

Log conveyor with reject section with rejects going to a reject screen.

Kone/KMW chipper with single motor drive producing 350 m3/hr of chips. Chips transferred by chip screw into next stage.

Log conveyor system feeding debarked logs outside the building with option of feeding external log magazine or on-going to feed the groundwood plant.

KMW Chip screen

The system has its own self-contained water screening system and reject debris from in feed conveyors is continually cleaned from the base of the conveyors with waste going into the waste water system.

In operation until September 2013.


Section B: Groundwood


Groundwood plant for production of 200 t/day of groundwood

Year of manufacture: 1958 with various rebuilds. Production average 8.8 t/hr and rejects 3.4 t/hr.

Six Voith grinders model 5 with log magazines. Motors are Schorch 3000 kW driving via gearbox to grinders.

Five horizontal screens for coarse screening of the pulp model Celleco HRCC-4 .

First stage screening two Tampella model 36P, secondary stage two Tampella TL200 pressure screens.

Three stage screening by pressure screens: Primary screen step 1: 45.A208 Basket with hole diameter 1.6 mm. Primary screen step 1: 45.A210 Basket with hole diameter 1.6 mm. Primary screen step 2: 45.A212 Basket with slot 0.15 mm. Primary screen step 2: 45.A214 Basket with slot 0.15 mm.

Celleco Cleanpac LD cleaner system in three stages: first stage 80 cleaners, second stage 32 cleaners and

third stage 4 cleaners.

Hedemora disc filter for pulp thickening. Model VDF 45.A228 M 200734 and disc diameter 5m rebuilt by GL&V. Inlet 0.5%, 30,000 litres/min, freeness 32 CSF, temperature 75 to 85 °C, design thickness in accept pulp 9.52%. Filtrate 350 ppm.

Pressure screen: BCI 24P, stainless steel with gearbox drive for cleaning water. Tanks for clear filtrate water and thickened pulp.

Pre - thickening screws feeding the Sudor model 150 screw press in stainless steel, motor and gearbox drive.

Celleco screw press with Hagglund hydraulic drive.

Mixer for bleach then pulp fed into bleaching towers 170 m3 and 250 m3 capacity. Tanks for rejects feeding screw thickeners which then feed Jylhavara SD 62 rejects refiner.

Stainless pulper for mixing pulp to the correct consistency. Final stage screening.


SectionC: Voith De inking system


Voith De inking system for 310 t/day with two stage medium consistency bleaching.

Was operating on 70% old newsprint and 30% old magazine papers.

Two Voith pulpers model VSG-50, capacity 72 to 170 t/day each, 280 kW drive, with bottom rotors, gearbox drives, fed from B+G Fordertechnik balers on load cells.

Weighing on conveyors to control consistency.

Feed conveyor then diverter conveyor feeding individual conveyors to each pulper. Year of manufacture 1976. Operating at low consistency. Batch operation. Sectional stainless tubs with bottom mounted rotor and gearbox drive.

Voith Contaminex stainless steel for pulper rejects, model CM21, year 1993, capacity 1500m3/hr. Motor 55 kW.

Voith screening drum in stainless: model F5, year 1993 and motor 5.5 kW.

Trumag scewpress: model Compax by Meri, year 1993 with motor 30 kW.

Three Voith Turbo separators : ATS 20 units, basalt tile lined, year 1977, motors 120 kW.

Andritz screw press in stainless steel model SPC1407 mm 11900, year 2005, capacity 387 BDT/D drive 400 kW.

Voith mixer for addition of bleach: model type GR30, year 1982 and motor 55 kW. Two stainless Blekthorn MC bleaching towers. Metso refiner LC position: model JCO-5, year 1999 with 2600 kW motor.

Voith primary flotation two with three cells in stainless steel: model ECC5/41, year 1993, capacity 17,000 litres/min.

Voith secondary flotation two with one cell in stainless steel: model ECC5/41, year 1993, capacity 17,000 litres/min

Disc filter Hedemora manufacture: year 1978, stainless body with repulping screw: model VDF 5 m diameter and 19/20 discs.

Production can be increased to 400t/day by installing new HC pulper rotors.



Section D: Paper machine deckle 6650mm


Basement design paper machine producing lightweight printing papers with recent wet end and dryer major rebuild in 1983. New wet end in 1997 by Valmet. Maximum speed 1050 m/min.

Machine is right hand drive from the flowbox with a sectional electric drive. Grammage range 49 to 70 gsm. Average running grammages 52 to 55 gsm. Average production at 54.3 gsm amd machine speed 1013 m/min is 433 t/day. On 70 gsm 939 m/min and 22.5 t,hr production.

Machine efficiency approvimately 85%. Average operational speed 1000 to 1050 m/min.

The machine house has two cranes and one will be retained with the building. DCS Valmet Dematic VME stations rebuilt. Modern heat recovery system. Steam system pressures 10/6/2.5 bars.

Soleplate centres 7850mm and deckle after the rewinder 6650mm. Design speeds: Wire 1400m/min Press sections 1000 m/min

Approach flow

Metso Deculator

LD cleaners in three stages.

Groundwood refiners: two Metso JCO-1 conical refiners. Kraft pulp refiners: two Voith SDM-1 refiners with 30” diameter discs. Back water fibre recovery by Nash vacuum assisted by Hedemora disc filter.

Four pressure screens prior to the headbox. Reject pressure screen in basement. Three Voith model GR21 pressure screens year 1983 hole size 1.8 mm and one MODUScreen H3 with by Ahlstrom R with 0.25 mm slotted basket. Reject screen Tampella model 24P.

Machine has a variable speed fan pump.


Wire section

Flowbox Valmet HHSD 7080 mm slice width, dilution control , auto slice control actuators (total of 117). Valmet Speedformer: model HSS. Wire width: 7260mm Soleplate centres: 7850mm

Dryness after the wire: 19%. Wire life top and bottom wires 12 weeks


Press Section

Three press sections.

First and second press of Voith manufacture: double press rebuilt 1975.

Third press: Valmet SYMZS.

Dryness after press sections: 49 to 50%

Press maximum loadings: 55 kN/m first press, 100 kN/m second press and 130 kN/m third press.


Dryer section

The Voith manufactured dryer section in enclosed hood by Voith/Valmet in 1983, with front lifting doors. Total of 60 dryers, all on A/F bearings with auto lub system. Five sections.

Auto felt guiding and tensioning, steam and condensate at the rear of the dryers, sheathen rope tail feed, operational pressure 2.5 bar. As indicated the dryer section had a complete rebuild in 1982 where it was totally removed, new bearings fitted, painted, parts repaired and rebuilt, repainted etc.


Calender

The calender has only one roll remaining and is used as a lead roll for the Honeywell moisture spray system. This section has an air transfer system from dryers through to the reel up.

Scanner: Metso IQ measuring gsm, profile, and ash.


Reel up

Voith horizontal reel up, rebuilt 1983, hydraulic operation, reel spool store above reel up, reel shell accelerator, maximum reel diameter 2000mm. Reel transfer crane to the rewinder.


Vacuum pumps.

Nash 2001, 2001, 6002, 6002, 6002, 6002, 6002, 6002, 6002, 9001 and 9001.


Rewinder

Wartsilla rewinder: seven roll stations, centre reel design, reel shell unwind, design speed 2000 m/min, auto knife setting, tension control, normal finished reel width 2600mm, maximum roll weight 3500 kgs. Deckle after the rewinder 6650mm.


Salvage rewinder

Jagenberg Varistep rewinder: year 1986, 2600mm width, minimum slit 150mm, designed for 65 gsm. Unwind shaftless with floor pick up: width 2600mm and diameter of 1250mm. Five slitters manual setting, tail tape transfer, rewind diameter 1500mm to 400 mm, shaftless rewind with various rewind diameter shafts, tension control, reel reject and lowering table, design speed 1500 m/min. Single motor drive.


Supercalenders

Two Wartsilla supercalenders: model 12-6850, 12 rolls with soft and hard rolls, bottom Kuster roll and top Nipco roll, steambox on second roll, and steam pipe on second roll. Maximum design pressure 280N/mm, speed 635 m/min. Each calender has horizontal lift for tail feeding. Spare roll rack with hard and soft rolls.


Roll grinder/lathe

Mill has a roll store which has a horizontal lathe for cutting new surface on supercalender rolls. Also roll rack which has individual drives to keep rolls turning before and after machining.


Section E: Turbines and Boilers


Turbines

1. Hallsta MTG5 maximum power 19.750 Kw. Stal manufacture and year 1971

Speed 3000 rpm. Frequency 50 Hz. Voltage 5250 V. Excitation voltage 220 V. Steam temperature before control valve 530 °C. Steam pressure before control valve: normal 100 bar and maximum 125 bar. Extraction pressure: 10 bar and 4 bar. Back pressure 1.7 bar.


2. Hallsta Turbine High Pressure 17,500 Kva

Hallsta high pressure turbine, maximum power 17,500 Kw. Stal manufacture and year 1956. Speed 3000 rpm. Frequency 50 Hz. Voltage 5250 V. Excitation voltage 220 V.

Steam temperature before control valve 530 °C. Steam pressure before control valve normal 107 bar and maximum 127 bar. Extraction pressure 45 bar and 6.2 bar. Back pressure 25 bar.


3. Hallsta Turbine Low Pressure 14,000 Kw.

Hallsta low pressure turbine, maximum power 14,000 Kw. Stal manufacture and year 1956 Speed 3000 rpm. Frequency 50 Hz. Voltage 5250 V. Excitation voltage 220 V.

Steam temperature before control valve: 350 °C, maximum 425 °C. Steam pressure before control valve: normal 25 bar and maximum 40 bar. Extraction pressure 6.2 bar. Back pressure 1.8 bar. NB. Turbines 2 and 3 HP and LP were reconditioned in 1995.


Svenska Maskinverken Boilers

Number 1 Boiler for burning oil:

Year installed 1958, construction pressure 125 bar, operating pressure 80 bar, output of steam 566 t/day, construction temperature 530 °C.

Number 2 Boiler for burning oil:

Year installed 1958, construction pressure 125 bar, operating pressure 80 bar, output of steam 566 t/day, construction temperature 530 °C.

Number 3 Boiler for burning bark /oil:

Year installed 1970, construction pressure 125 bar, operating pressure 85 bar, output of steam 1044 t/day, construction temperature 530 °C.

Number A Boiler for burning sludge / bark:

Year installed 1963 rebuilt 1985, construction pressure 25 bar, operating pressure 25 bar, output of steam 480 t/day, construction temperature 225 °C. This boiler is conveyor fed and has a fluidised sand bed. Burning is assisted by oil addition.


Filter

Electrical scrubber filter unit ABB manufacture model TR1 and TR2: 5.5 MW.
