WIRE SECTION Tampella stainless flowbox, year 1990, vacuum operation, with auto slice control with 26 slice controlled adjusters, slice 3100mm, cantilevered stainless wire frame, forming board, approximately seven foil units with ceramic blades situated before the top Tampella former. The top former, year 1991, has a stainless steel frame, suction couch with blow box for tail transfer and forward drive roll. Thune auto wire guides on top and bottom wires. Pneumatic wire tensioner. Wire 23.55m length and width 3300mm bottom wire and top wire 10.1 m length and width 3350mm. Bottom wire has shake motion. Couch pit with side entry agitator. PRESS SECTIONS Four presses through type with pneumatic loading. Press loadings are: 1 20 kn/m 2 35 kn/m 3 80 kn/m 4 30 kn/m(smoothing press) DRYER SECTIONS Predryer First section: seven drying cylinders, first section slalom felt, operating pressure 2.4 bar, Thune wire and felt guides, A/F bearings, sheathen rope feed, Thune automatic guides. Second section: six dryers, sheathen rope feed, A/F bearings, Thune automatic guides,AND pneumatic felt stretchers. Third section: eight dryers, sheathen rope feed, A/F bearings, Thune automatic guides and pneumatic felt stretchers. Fourth section: eight dryers, sheathen rope feed, A/F bearings, Thune automatic guides and pneumatic felt stretchers. Under machine pulper stainless steel with side entry agitator. Sheathen rope tensioners in machine basement. Electrical infra red dryer(Ircon) before precoater, crossmachine moisture control (20 zones). Pocket ventilation installed in the second and third drying section. The first scanner is a Valmet Damatic from 1999. Precoater and after dryer Twin HSM from BTG coater with stainless frame, 1994 Infra red dryer from Ircon(1994) after the coater, cross machine moisture control(7 zones). Fifth section: drying cylinders on A/F bearings, Thune automatic guide, Sheathen rope feed. This section with single in - drive to one dryer and the remainder are felt driven. Operating pressure 4.8 bar. All other dryer sections have open gear drive with in - drive to each section driven by gearbox and motor. Cylinders have cascade steam system with internal rotating scoops and stationary syphons and thermo compressors in the system. Under machine stainless pulper with a side entry agitator. The second scanner after the precoater is a Valmet Damatic from 1999. Topcoater and pope Two Jagenberg Combi Blade coaters, year 1988. Each coater has Infra red dryer from Ircon(1988) after the coater, cross machine moisture control(12 zones)an air dryer located above each coater and a scanner situated between the coaters. Coating tanks with pumps for top coater. Coating tanks with pumps for pre coater. There is a draw press for controlling paper tension from coater dryer to the horizontal reel up. Sheet passes via in - line scanner measuring gsm, profile, moisture, caliper and ash. Under machine stainless pulper with a side entry agitator. Horizontal reel up with shell auto change. Vacuum pumps: Nash 2001 (2), 2002, 3001 (2), 6002 and CL201. Machine has reel storage on horizontal reel carriage where rolls are stored prior to Supercalender or rewinder. SUPERCALENDER Kleinwefer supercalendar, drive on right from unwind, year 1963, rebuilt with new drive in 1995, face 3300mm, 12 rolls, mix of rolls chilled steel, paper/ cotton filled bowls and synthetic rolls, A/F bearings, hydraulic loading, lift front and rear for tail feeding, four steam heated rolls, auto roll lift for breaks, speed 600 m/min., driven unwind and rewind. REWINDER Jagenberg rewinder year 1967 model Vari-Dur 33-15, 3300mm width, 1500mmm diameter shaft unwind and shaftless rewind, auto knife setting fitted 2007 by Rollteck, tail feed by tapes, brake generator 105kw and drives two 100kw new in 1995, tension control on brake, 12 slitters fitted, rewind diameter 1500mm with reel ejector and lowering table.
